Bit of wildlife?
This photograph of these lovely birds was taken outside the kitchen window last week when the sun shined. There are plenty more types of birds around and some bird song on sunny days around our beutiful countryside...............just the recipe for spring !

April - springtime ?
Gosh its chilly today outside especially when the sun hides behind the clouds !
But according to the weather forecast it will be warmer next week .......... watch this space!
Lets hope it happens soon and our garden will be a picture of beautiful colours when the bulbs and daffs decide its warm enough to flower.
Perhaps its time for a short holiday, 2 or 3 nights in the peaceful countryside listening to the birds every morning at breakfast time. A visit to the seaside and watch the calming waves , most guests say that's good therapy - we agree!
Lyme Regis has plenty to offer this time of year whether its cold or hot -seaside, harbour, shops, museum's, pubs, restaurants, theatre, cinema and golf.

Bed and Breakfast 2013 begins .........
The 2013 season for Bed and Breakfast has started with some of our regular guests returning last weekend for a couple of nice days to catch up with family locally.
If you would like to take a short break during March why don't you join us here in the beautiful countryside of the Marshwood Vale in West Dorset.

OH DEAR WINTERS BACK !!!!
Thankfully the winter weather is back after we have fininshed lambing out first lot of ewes and horray no ''Schmallenberg Virus '' So lots of healthy baby lambs running around the fields.
A months break before the big lot of 1200 ewes are due to start lambing Easter weekend and carry on for a month. These ewes all lamb outdoors so we are praying for some nice dry warm sunny weather !
