Early/Late Christmas and New Year celebrations.......

Have you ever thought about having family or friends early Christmas or a late New Year weekend celebration together?

We have an extended family who have for several years booked our large S/C property for a weekend in early December. They come from all over the place and always meet up in our central location. They always put the Christmas decorations up and have a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, open presents and play games.

We also have a extended family that come every January, usually the first weekend. They decorate the property and have a traditional roast dinner then enjoy there time together in the games barn and hot tub.

The Natural History Museum’s famous Diplodocus, Dippy the Dinosaur is currently on Tour in Dorset at the Dorset County Museum until the 7th of May..........pop in for a visit on your stay in West Dorset.

October S/C Half term availablity......................

Friday 27th 2.30pm till Monday 30th of October 10am

at Courthouse Farmhouse and /or Courthouse Dairy.

Both properties sleep 11 in 5/4 bedrooms and  each has 3 bathrooms. Can be let together for large group of 22-24.

They each have there own hot tubs and guests staying in both share a games barn.

Costs are £728 per property, this includes VAT, C/H, hot water, electric, logs for the woodburner (in the Dairy), WIFI and the hot tubs on ready.

The popular Free Exchange Cafe is open the first Sunday of the month from April till November from 10.30 to 12 noon, in the Church at Whitchurch Canonicorum.

 

Enjoy freshly-brewed coffee, tea, croissants and pain chocolat straight from the oven. Catch up with friends and neighbours, or browse the Sunday papers. Come for ten minutes or stay for an hour. 

 

The Free Exchange Table is open, too. Bring something you no longer need, take something away if you like it or both or neither - whichever you choose, no money changes hands. Plants and Produce are always welcome.

 

There's no charge for the Cafe (but feel free to leave a donation).

IT HAS 6 BEDROOMS AND 4 BATHROOMS, LARGE KITCHEN/DINER AND LOUNGE. OUTSIDE THE GARDEN IS 1/3 OF ACRE WITH A STONED PATIO AREA WITH A HOT TUB UNDER COVER SO SUITABLE ALL YEAR ROUND. TAPHOUSE ALSO HAS IT OWN GAMES BARN.

AT WAKELYS FARM CAN BE LET TOGETHER FOR LARGE PARTIES OF 13

THE STABLE SLEEPS 6 AND HAYLOFT SLEEPS 7, EACH HAS 3 BEDROOMS AND 2/3 BATHROOMS. THEY EACH HAVE A PATIO AREA WITH SMALL LAWNED AREAS.
